Primary Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our team at HMP Gartree, a category B men's prison in Leicestershire. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to prevent hospital admissions and provide evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver nurse-led services, including medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, and attending emergency response situations.
- Assess patients, undertake reception screening, and use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group.
- Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision, providing outstanding evidence-based care, delivering non-judgmental care, inspiring excellence, promoting best practice, and sharing knowledge and expertise.
