We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join our team at an Outstanding primary school in the East of England. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum to our students.

About the School

This is an inspirational two-form entry school in Fenland, Cambridgeshire, easily accessible by public transport. We are committed to providing exceptional pastoral care and a supportive learning environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire KS2 students to reach their full potential
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, keeping regular records of their academic performance
  • Create a positive learning environment that is safe and conducive for learning
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for KS2 students
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities, such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
  • Use effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment

Requirements

  • QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner
  • Passionate about learning
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 3 environment
  • Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
