  • Execute individualized care plans that cater to the specific needs and preferences of each person, ensuring their safety and dignity are prioritized.
  • Track and report on individual progress, documenting any changes in their condition while maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals and team members.
  • Encourage independence and support individuals in developing life skills and engaging in community activities.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards and infection control protocols.
Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of mandatory training in care and support (e.g., UK Core Skills Training Framework - CSTF Mandatory Training or the Care Certificate).
  • Certification in CPI Training (formerly MAPA).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
  • Flexible availability for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain composure under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training or certifications related to mental health, learning disabilities, or complex care needs.
  • Completion of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism.
