Financial Controller Job Description

Grange Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, integrating them into the company's standard structures.
  • Develop and maintain controls to maximise returns and cash flow.
  • Provide financial and management expertise to ensure the effective running of the dealership and the company's Guest Experience.
  • Assist the Head of Business in preparing weekly and monthly forecasts based on current and anticipated activity.
Requirements:
  • AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent level of experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent.
  • Previous accounting experience, ideally within the motor industry.
  • Knowledge of Pinnacle - desirable.
  • Previous team management experience and proven leadership skills.
  • Proven analytical skills and action planning experience.
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent numerical, administrative and time management skills.
