Omega Personnel Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, ensuring the functionality and safety of our building assets and services.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Building Management Systems: Operate and monitor BEMS controls to ensure optimal performance.
- Fault Response: Provide first-line response to electrical faults and issues.
- Water Safety: Perform water flushing and temperature testing in compliance with L8/Legionella standards.
- Cleaning & Disinfection: Carry out cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and ventilation grilles.
- Electrical Work: Execute electrical repairs, including light fittings and emergency lighting systems.
- General Maintenance: Attend to plumbing issues, filter changes, and minor repairs to building fabric.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure fire safety equipment is operational and assist with emergency lift calls.
- Support for Subcontractors: Collaborate with specialist subcontractors as needed.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Completion of City and Guilds or equivalent certification for 18th/19th Edition Electrical Installations (BS7671).
- A strong understanding of various building systems, including HVAC, water treatment, and electrical installations.
- A valid driving license and excellent communication skills in English.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building services.
- Knowledge of safe working practices and the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Experience in inspecting, testing, and commissioning mechanical installations.
