We are collaborating with a reputable client based in Telford who currently have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Sales Support Coordinator.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that customer needs are fully satisfied for every order and to assist the sales teams in acquiring new business by actively promoting products and delivering exceptional service.

In addition to the salary, the company provides 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, an annual discretionary bonus, a contributory pension scheme, an early finish on Fridays, and access to numerous other perks and benefits through their reward and recognition platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales administration systems and processes including order entry, invoicing, and tracking of sales orders from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with logistics departments and field sales personnel to ensure accurate specifications and timely order deliveries.
  • Support field sales teams by providing information and general sales administration. Perform any duties deemed necessary and appropriate to the role as defined by the line manager.
  • Address customer inquiries in the most suitable manner based on the nature and level of the inquiry.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Sales Administration team.
  • Liaise directly with Head Office departments as required.
  • Handle customer service issues promptly and efficiently. Escalate actions to the sales teams where necessary to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties.
  • Manage export sales administration, including the generation and processing of export sales documentation for non-UK customers.
  • Strive to maintain and enhance the company's current health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a sales administration role.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
