Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Brook Street UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise in the preparation of consolidated divisional results and assisting in the preparation of associate company accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly associate company accounts, including financial statements and management reports.
- Preparation of associate company forecasts and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely submission to stakeholders.
- Preparing year-end associate company management accounts for submission to accountants, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts for submission to Group Head Office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Traveling to ports and Divisional Head Office to assist in associate company accounting work, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant with a strong background in financial reporting and consolidation.
- Previous experience in the fishing industry is preferred but not required, as we value transferable skills and adaptability.
- Reporting system experience and proficiency in Excel are essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
