About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join our team at Highland Spring Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production operators and ensuring the compliance of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Coach and lead a team of production operators to achieve high levels of performance and quality.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively approach issues with problem-solving tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority for all team members.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that the standard and priority for quality is adhered to at all times.
  • Performance Management: Have a clear understanding of daily and weekly performance targets and ensure that the team is working towards achieving them.
  • Asset Care: Assign asset care tasks within the team to ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Team Briefings: Carry out team briefings and start-up meetings to ensure that the team is informed and aligned.
  • Improvement Projects: Undertake improvement projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • People Development: Develop the skills and abilities of team members through training and development programs.
  • Absence Management: Manage employee absence and employee relations to ensure that the team is fully staffed and productive.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a team leader in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills, including knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing processes.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, organized, passionate, and adaptable.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time role, working 4 on 4 off, day and night shifts. You will be required to work at our manufacturing site and must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,021.59 per annum, plus benefits including up to 10% pension, 22.5 days holiday, and a free health cash plan.
