Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner EDIC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, a leading healthcare provider. As a Mental Health Practitioner in our Early Days in Custody (EDIC) program, you will work closely with individuals in the early stages of their incarceration, providing essential mental health support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health services to individuals in custody, focusing on early intervention and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in mental health practice, preferably in a custodial setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on early intervention and support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
