Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our PIER Team at the Merlyn Vaz Centre in Leicester. This Band 7/8a preceptorship post offers a unique opportunity to work with adults experiencing a first episode of psychosis, providing evidence-based psychological interventions and contributing to the development of a trauma-informed psychosis pathway.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality psychological therapies to individuals with psychosis and co-existing mental health issues, including family interventions.
- Work within a multi-professional framework, receiving clinical supervision and line management from a senior psychologist.
- Develop and deliver teaching and training programs to enhance the skills of colleagues and contribute to the growth of the psychosis pathway.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure the provision of responsive psychological therapies that meet NCAP therapy targets and support the development of a psychologically informed service-wide psychosis pathway.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to peers and other multidisciplinary team members.

RequirementsWe are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with experience in delivering psychological therapies to individuals with psychosis and co-existing mental health issues. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-professional team.
