Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and service on generators.
  • Utilizing a company vehicle to travel to various job sites within your designated area.
  • Performing fault diagnostics and executing repairs during breakdowns.
  • Coordinating with our head office to ensure effective job planning.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • Participating in the regional on-call rotation, approximately once every six weeks.
  • Adhering to health and safety, environmental, and quality management protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate records using our proprietary management system.
  • Collaborating internally to ensure projects remain within budget and are completed on schedule.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, or possess an NVQ Level 3 certification.
  • Experience with generators is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components, including engines and alternators.
  • Ability to understand and conduct risk assessments.
  • Experience in a mobile engineering role is advantageous.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Aptitude for engaging with a diverse range of clients across various sectors.
