Job Description

As a key member of our team at DPD Group UK, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service as a collection and delivery driver. Your primary responsibility will be to collect and deliver parcels in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that our customers receive their packages on schedule.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a valid C1 licence, DQC, and CPC accreditation. Additionally, you should have at least 12 months of experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to work independently and as part of a team.

On a typical day, you will start at the depot, where you will assist with loading parcels onto vehicles. You will then be assigned a delivery and collection schedule, which may include up to 60 stops in the local area. To facilitate the transportation of heavier items, a Sack Barrow/Hand Truck will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver parcels in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive their packages on schedule
  • Assist with loading parcels onto vehicles at the depot
  • Operate a Sack Barrow/Hand Truck to transport heavier items
Requirements
  • Valid C1 licence, DQC, and CPC accreditation
  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
