Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Material Planning Manager to join our team at our Desford facility. As a key member of our international division, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring a smooth flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels to meet production demands
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels
  • Coordinate maintenance and support of inventory management software
  • Lead a team of materials management workers to ensure a motivational and professional work environment
Requirements:
  • Higher education degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate successfully with internal and external partners
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • SAP working knowledge
