Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Advisor to join our team at Robert Walters. As an HR professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive people services to our business, ensuring adherence to people policies, procedures, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding people queries and issues.
- Provide advice on employment law, policies, and best practices.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance coaching cases.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies and conducting interviews.
- Support managers in the performance coaching process, providing guidance on setting objectives and evaluating performance.
- Ensure that people policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with current employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of learning and development initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of organisational changes.
- Promote employee well-being initiatives.
Requirements:
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Proven experience in a people advisory role.
- Experience in managing employee relations cases.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in people software and Microsoft Office.
