Position Overview
Flexible location within the Southern region of the UK Competitive salary of £36,407 annually + Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + 10% Performance Bonus + Additional BenefitsKey Responsibilities as a Sustainability and Risk Management Consultant:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting the management and enhancement of the Group Insurance Risk Management (IRM) platform across the UK, including providing remote assistance to fellow team members. Collaborating with operational teams to manage identified issues and ensuring they are addressed effectively. Developing management strategies (such as Fire Prevention Plans, Odour Management Plans, Site Management Plans, and Monitoring Management Plans) that align with regulatory standards. Supplying data to management to aid in the preparation of monthly performance reports.Qualifications and Requirements:
A strong background in drafting, evaluating, and maintaining Management Systems is essential, along with up-to-date knowledge of industry practices to ensure compliance with ISO 9000, 14000, and 18000 standards, enabling environmental permits to be executed using 'best available techniques' (BAT).
Additional qualifications include:
A Degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Sciences. Professional membership in relevant organizations to stay informed about the latest standards. A thorough understanding of project management methodologies, as the role necessitates effective project management skills to ensure timely delivery of accurate information. Familiarity with legal reporting obligations, including waste returns, energy efficiency, and permit requirements.About SUEZ:
