  • Sustainability Strategy: Work closely with the leadership team to integrate sustainability into the company's overall business strategy, focusing on long-term value creation, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • ESG Reporting: Support the preparation and submission of non-financial reports, ensuring accurate and transparent disclosure of sustainability risks, impacts, and performance in line with CSRD standards.
  • Risk and Due Diligence Integration: Advise on embedding sustainability-related risk assessments and due diligence into our existing operations, ensuring compliance with CSDDD obligations and alignment with broader ESG frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments (finance, legal, operations, etc.) to align sustainability efforts across the company, and engage with external stakeholders, such as investors, regulators, and suppliers, to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Lead training sessions for key internal teams to ensure company-wide understanding of CSRD and CSDDD requirements and foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
  • Ongoing Monitoring and Reporting: Keep the company updated on regulatory changes, emerging trends, and industry best practices, providing continuous support to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Expert Knowledge of CSRD and CSDDD: Comprehensive understanding of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) regulations.
  • Multilingual skills are a bonus (German / French)
  • Proven Experience in Sustainability: 7+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or corporate social responsibility, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies in alignment with regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for an experienced consultant looking to work directly with a company, driving tangible sustainability outcomes and ensuring compliance with critical EU sustainability regulations.

Application Process:

To apply, please submit your CV and any relevant work samples demonstrating your experience in CSRD. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.
