The Hospital of St Johns and St Elizabeth is a leading provider of palliative care services, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Our Inpatient Hospice Unit is a 18-bedded facility that offers a range of services, including symptom management, pain control, and emotional support.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. You will also have the opportunity to participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with life-threatening illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment that values collaboration and open communication
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional body
- Experience in palliative care or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
