Consultant Haematologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Haematology Service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise in Haematology. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of Haematological malignancies, including Lymphoma.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology/Radiotherapy, and Haematology Consultants, to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will also participate in the development of our Haematology Service, including the implementation of new treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the diagnosis and management of Haematological malignancies, including Lymphoma.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in the development of our Haematology Service, including the implementation of new treatments and therapies.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide teaching and training to junior medical staff.
Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
  • Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC.
  • Higher Degree.
