CNC Turner (Programmer, Setter, Operator) Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Programmer, Setter, Operator) to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. Our client, located in the South Yorkshire region, is looking for a skilled professional to work on their high-precision manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming, setting, and operating turning machines to produce high-precision work.
  • Reading engineering drawings and interpreting specifications.
  • Programming, setting, and operating 3 sliding head lathes with Siemens 840d controls.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls, HAAS, or Siemens is an advantage.
Essential Experiences and Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a high-precision manufacturing background.
  • A background of operating CNC lathes, preferably sliding heads, is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Working Hours and Pay:

Working on days, 40 hours per week. You will earn an hourly rate of between £12.50-£18.15 an hour, depending on experience.
