About the Role
The Airport Duty Manager (ADM) is a critical position at London Stansted Airport, responsible for overseeing the airport's operations. As a key member of the MAG team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the airport, working closely with various stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient and collaborative airport operations.
- Lead and manage airport teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective decision-making and response to operational challenges.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and challenges.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in airport operations or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational plans and contingency strategies.
