Job Title: CNC Grinder

We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a CNC Grinder, you will be responsible for manufacturing and modifying engine components for super/hyper car manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate CNC grinding machines (Junker & Kellenburger)
  • Set and operate manual grinding machines (cylindrical & surface)
  • Manufacture/modify cams, cranks to support internal/external engine development programs
  • Perform quality control checks using measuring equipment (gauges, CMM's Adcole)
  • Inspect and maintain machinery, tooling and equipment to ensure parts produced conform to specification
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical information
  • Knowledge of multiple grinding methods (internal/external, between centres and surface grinding)
  • Experienced with work holding methods
  • Conversant with machine code and problem-solving skills
  • Numerical and computer skills
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written
