Position Overview

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed team. This role is pivotal in managing the financial aspects of significant construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commercial resources of the project to enhance profitability through effective subcontractor contract management.
  • Administer subcontract packages from initial inquiry to final account settlement.
  • Implement package management and change control processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews with the project team to identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate variations and assess valuations of subcontractor accounts.
  • Authorize the placement of contracts, as well as materials and plant orders.
  • Optimize cash flow through meticulous control, measurement, negotiation, invoicing, and payment processes within the supply chain.
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Principal Contractor environment.
  • Possess a solid educational background, including at least an HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage subcontract packages effectively from inquiry to final account.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Showcase excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Maintain a stable employment history, reflecting reliability and commitment.
