About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Environmental Manager to join our team at Boyd Recruitment. As a key member of our HSEQ department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and environmental practices are maintained across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams to ensure they understand and comply with quality and environmental procedures.
- Support the development of risk management processes, including risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and fire risk assessments.
- Compile reports to inform management of internal audit findings, risk profiles, and non-conformity to contractual or external audits.
Requirements
- Experience in a full-time HS&E role, preferably in the electrical and construction industries.
- Knowledge and experience of operational activities within the electrical and construction industries.
- NEBOSH General Certificate and internal auditing/management experience of ISO 45001/14001/9001.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams and management.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
