About the Role
The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Accommodation Domestic Assistant. This role is a key part of our Facilities Department, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our hospital accommodation and associated buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the hospital accommodation, including communal spaces, patient rooms, and staff areas.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
