Mechanical Technician Position at Root One Central Ltd

We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Technician to contribute to the upkeep and repair of vehicles and horticultural machinery. The successful candidate will possess a robust mechanical skill set and a dedication to maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles, mowers, strimmers, rotovators, and assorted horticultural machinery, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks.
  • Identify and rectify mechanical faults on vans, tractors, and trucks.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to detect potential issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Test drive vehicles post-repair to confirm optimal performance.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot intricate mechanical problems.
  • Keep precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a comparable position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Capability to work autonomously and effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to articulate technical matters clearly.
