We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Technician to contribute to the upkeep and repair of vehicles and horticultural machinery. The successful candidate will possess a robust mechanical skill set and a dedication to maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles, mowers, strimmers, rotovators, and assorted horticultural machinery, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks.
- Identify and rectify mechanical faults on vans, tractors, and trucks.
- Perform vehicle inspections to detect potential issues and propose effective solutions.
- Test drive vehicles post-repair to confirm optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot intricate mechanical problems.
- Keep precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a comparable position.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Capability to work autonomously and effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to articulate technical matters clearly.
