Charles Taylor Specialist Investigations Services is seeking a skilled Special Investigator to join our team. As a Special Investigator, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients from fraudulent activity.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims, utilizing cognitive telephone interviews, validation calls, and video interviews.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including Charles Taylor colleagues, clients, law enforcement agencies, and legal professionals.
- Adhere to relevant legislation and ensure all relevant revenue opportunities are explored.
- Triage suspected fraud referrals and recommend/implement the required investigation.
- Ensure complaints are captured and recorded in accordance with FCA complaint guidelines.
- Liaise with CTSIS clients and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Record fraud savings for our clients.
- Act as a role model and ensure approachability to all members of Charles Taylor staff.
- Assess evidence and make decisions based on an impartial assessment of a claim.
- Manage your own case load of investigations while ensuring all tasks are up to date.
- Write detailed repudiation/challenge letters and investigation reports.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring client liability is protected.
- Excellent investigative skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good telephone manner.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
- A resilient attitude towards confrontation.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good time keeping and time management skills.
- Previous experience of adhering to service level agreements.
- Commitment to providing the highest level of customer care.
- Ability to develop good working relationships internally and externally.
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum, 28 days including Bank Holiday's and incremental holiday plan, fantastic opportunities for learning and development, contributory pension scheme, free health cash plan, generous high-street rewards scheme, free travel insurance, and discounts on home and motor insurance.
