About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager at Appoint Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting the care home operations to meet or exceed goals while ensuring high-quality care. You will oversee care staff and manage the care home in the Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional care.
- Assist with resident pre-admission assessments and maintain accurate care plans and records.
- Facilitate communication with families and other organizations to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Oversee care home operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
About the Care Home:
Our care home is registered for up to 71 service users, providing nursing, residential, and dementia care. We have excellent reviews and feedback from residents and families, and we pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
- NMC PIN (Nurse/RGN/RMN)
- Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
- Ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
