We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Derby. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical products for highly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical products using 3D CAD software
  • Prepare fully detailed design submissions and manufacturing/fabrication drawings
  • Model piping systems for optimal performance
  • Prepare and submit technical documentation, including Network Rail Forms 1, 2 & 3
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Excellent 3D CAD skills and proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, Medical etc.
