About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Field House and Apartments, a specialist rehabilitation service for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants, to ensure the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways to support the rehabilitation of service users.
  • Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff to ensure their continued growth and development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist, evidence-based interventions, including Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans to support the recovery and rehabilitation of service users.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapy profession qualification and HCPC Registration.
  • Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience in adult mental health.
  • Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with mental illness and trauma.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
