Job Summary:

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Advisor for a high-profile tunnelling project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of robust health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide Expert Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and foster a positive safety culture across the project.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with key stakeholders, including contractors, regulatory bodies, and the client, to ensure alignment on safety objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in construction project or facilities health and safety, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in tunnelling.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Construction activities-minimum), NEBOSH General Certificate (Facilities activities-minimum), TEEPS - Tunnel entry card, and TSTS Card.
