Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are March, the UK's leading provider of critical engineering services, seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for performing load calculations, equipment selection, and coordinating with other trades to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and commercial premises.
  • Perform design calculations, including equipment selection, lighting, cable sizing, maximum demand, containment, and lifecycle.
  • Assist the estimating team by sourcing quotations from suppliers and vetting quotations for compliance with employer requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Provide technical support for project teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of regulations and building codes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.
  • Proficient in CAD/Revit and Trimble design software.
  • HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
