Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Forecasting
- Lead Strategic Financial Planning: Oversee annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plans to ensure the company's financial goals are met.

Financial Analysis and Reporting
- In-Depth Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analyses to understand the impact of volume, price, and cost changes on profits, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Present Financial Insights: Simplify and communicate financial data in team meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the company's financial objectives.
- Commercial Analysis and ROI: Analyze pricing, promotions, and return on investment (ROI) to support commercial decisions, providing data-driven recommendations to drive business growth.
Strategic and Operational Support
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist with customer negotiations, new product proposals, and promotional plans, providing financial expertise and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Support: Provide critical data and analysis for various teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven Commercial Business Partnering experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Ideally a qualified accountant (e.g., CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA) with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis.
- Desirable background in rapidly growing businesses, with a proven track record of driving financial growth and improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Inquisitive and driven to improve current practices, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills, capable of handling large data sets and performing complex financial analysis.
