Band 5/6 Staff Nurse Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5/6 Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Admissions Unit at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have extensive post-qualification acute medical experience and be able to demonstrate good basic English language skills. They will be able to solve problems, use initiative, and develop their own clinical skills.
The role involves caring for acutely unwell patients in a variety of settings, and the ideal candidate will have experience of taking charge and leading teams. They will also be able to prioritize and meet deadlines, manage difficult situations, and work flexibly as part of a 24-hour service.

Key Responsibilities- Caring for acutely unwell patients in a variety of settings
- Developing own clinical skills and participating in continuing professional development
- Leading teams and taking charge of patient care
- Prioritizing and meeting deadlines, managing difficult situations, and working flexibly as part of a 24-hour service
- Current NMC Registration
- Extensive post-qualification acute medical experience
- Good basic English language skills
- Ability to solve problems, use initiative, and develop own clinical skills
