About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our Catering Services team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our catering operations to ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of catering staff to deliver high-quality food and beverage services to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Develop and implement catering strategies to meet the nutritional needs of patients and staff, while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize catering services and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with dietitians and other healthcare professionals to plan and deliver patient-centered meals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including regular audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement training programs for catering staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
