Our client is a leading manufacturer of pre-packed, ready-to-eat fresh food and bowls, supplying some of the UK's well-known retailers. With a strong brand presence in the UK, they are looking for a proactive and multi-skilled Engineer to join their growing team during a period of expansion.
About the Job:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the site Maintenance Manager and work closely with the production/technical team to ensure minimum downtime of production by carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance. You will take pride in the day-to-day running of our client's manufacturing lines, ensuring that all equipment runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance in line with production schedules
- Work with other departments to ensure production cycles stay on schedule
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimum downtime of production
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from an FMCG environment, ideally in the food industry
What We Offer:
A basic salary of £47,125, an annual bonus scheme, life assurance, and a range of employee benefits, including transport to work and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
