Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of civil and construction steel products, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work within their manufacturing facility in the Lichfield area.
The RoleThis role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment within our client's facility. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings, as well as some electrical exposure to 3-phase electrical systems, motors, drives, and controls typically found in cutting and bending machines.
The role requires applicants who have reactive and proactive maintenance and repair experience, as well as fault-finding experience. These are industrial engineering roles requiring applicants to work on an early, late, and night shift rotation. Overtime will be available, and applicants who are willing to take this on would be ideal.
The PersonApplicants will preferably have current or previous mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair experience, with fault-finding experience being ideal. Candidates should be suitably qualified within the mechanical trade and ideally possess some electrical knowledge (time served or apprenticeship). They should be mechanically multi-skilled with basic electrical experience.
As a blue-chip company, you will receive a competitive salary. Shift Engineer, rotating 3 shifts (early, late, night) £31K basic, shift allowance OTE £37K + Overtime + Bonus + pension scheme, Life Insurance Scheme, and 25 days holiday.
