Job Title: Telecoms Installation Specialist

Job Summary:

Asarum Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Installation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment and networks in support of our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure telecommunications equipment, including routers and switches
  • Design and implement fibre optic and copper cabling systems
  • Configure and test network devices and systems
  • Collaborate with mechanical and heating engineers to ensure seamless integration of telecommunications and building systems
  • Mentor and train junior staff in telecommunications and networking skills
  • Perform basic electrical wiring and connections as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telecommunications equipment installation and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of fibre optic and copper cabling systems
  • Basic networking skills, including hardwired networking
  • Electrical awareness, including 19th edition electrical standards
  • Full driving licence
