Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the BIM Team Leader with BIM coordination and the delivery of BIM models for complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and managing all BIM requirements in projects
  • Delegating tasks to BIM Technicians
  • Liaising and collaborating with clients and external stakeholders
  • Creating internal clash reports
  • Attending BIM coordination meetings
  • Setting up models
  • Ensuring links in models are updated weekly
  • Performing CAD checks
  • Exporting & uploading models to CDE
  • Working closely with technicians
  • Supporting and guiding BIM Technicians about project specifics
  • Disseminating information from BIM execution plans

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous BIM coordination experience
  • Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
  • Prior experience working with 2D & 3D software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • To be honest, trustworthy, and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders
  • Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies
  • Ability to work using your own initiative
  • Previous experience within a related field is desirable
  • Previous experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable
  • Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud is desirable
  • Experience using Revit MEP is desirable
  • Recognised BIM qualification is desirable
