Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee our Water Industry frameworks, working closely with Regional Managers to enhance our civil engineering offerings.
This role is based at our headquarters, with regular visits to client sites, covering various water companies.
This is a vital position within our organization, and a background in on-site civil engineering project management is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee staff and subcontractors on assigned projects
- Ensure health and safety compliance for yourself and your team, including the completion of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Develop and manage essential project documentation
- Monitor and control project expenditures
- Maintain close communication and management of clients and stakeholders
- Act as the primary client interface for a framework
- Participate in a structured monthly project reporting process
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively address environmental impacts and ensure protection
- Effectively manage operational outputs of projects to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Experience in a civil engineering environment
- Strong understanding of planning, monitoring, and controlling techniques
- Familiarity with planning software such as Microsoft Project or P6
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company protocols
- SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely certifications
- Valid UK driving license
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant City & Guilds trade qualifications
