Nurse - Renal Care Unit
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse for our Renal Care Unit who aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional care and outstanding service to our patients.
This facility is designed to provide renal patients with treatment in a familiar environment. You will be part of a skilled renal team with a wealth of experience in developing and managing renal care units. The position will be based in a community setting but will be overseen by our esteemed NHS Trust.
With over thirty years of expertise in dialysis and innovative treatment methodologies, we have gained both national and international acclaim.
Prior experience in dialysis is not a prerequisite for this role. Our Renal Care Unit is equipped with cutting-edge technology and ample parking facilities. You will receive comprehensive training in delivering high-quality patient care within a dialysis context. Our Trust has a proven history of successfully establishing and managing Renal Dialysis Units.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate as a vital member of the multidisciplinary clinical team focused on renal care.
The Renal Team will oversee the clinical management of patients requiring dialysis.
You will be expected to cultivate the knowledge and skills necessary to care for renal patients, which includes providing care to all individuals undergoing renal replacement therapy in various settings.
Effective communication and collaboration with patients, nursing colleagues, the multidisciplinary team, and other relevant personnel are essential.
As a member of the nursing team, you will contribute to delivering a high standard of evidence-based care, support your colleagues in providing quality service, and assist in the training and development of junior staff.
About Our Organization
At East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, we take pride in the diverse range of general and specialized services we offer. Our dedicated staff ensures that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Our adaptability and innovation in service delivery are more crucial than ever.
We operate several hospitals, each committed to providing exceptional care.
We have ambitious goals to evolve into a leading, patient-centered Trust where our staff delivers compassionate care. We are undergoing significant transformation, with our staff and patients at the forefront of this initiative.
We are committed to promoting a positive work-life balance for our employees, allowing for flexible working arrangements. We encourage all employees to formally request flexible working patterns, which we will consider in light of service needs.
