Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a forward-thinking leader in AI, predicting technological progress and incorporating it into our strategic framework.
  • Design and implement AI Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products, overseeing their journey from inception to full-scale deployment.
  • Discover and harness significant AI applications within our services, establishing scalable technological infrastructures.
  • Demonstrate a strong dedication to professional development by remaining informed about the latest innovations in AI technologies.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers to improve their technical capabilities and encourage ongoing learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers, to conceptualize, refine, and execute advanced AI solutions.
  • Champion innovation by delivering presentations, conducting webinars, and producing impactful publications.

Qualifications:

  • Robust background in computer science with an emphasis on AI and data infrastructure design.
  • At least 10 years of experience as an engineer in cloud environments, integrating with legacy systems.
  • Deep understanding of AI and ML principles, encompassing model development, deployment, and MLOps methodologies.
  • Experience in crafting enterprise-scale cloud-native AI/ML solutions.
  • Expertise in orchestrating data pipelines across hybrid environments utilizing Azure and related technologies.
  • Proficient in data processing with tools such as Spark or Dask, alongside strong programming skills in Python, Scala, C#, or Java.
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD automation for efficient deployment.
  • Utilization of Azure AI Search or Elasticsearch for sophisticated content analysis and indexing of RAG services.
  • Management of data workflows and Kubernetes clusters on AKS with tools like Airflow, Kubeflow, Argo, and Dagster.
  • Proficient in scripting languages and tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and Helm Charts.
