Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, career-focused, and forward-thinking Junior Underwriter to join our award-winning underwriting function at a genuinely exciting time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support deals from a credit management perspective, working closely with our Business Development Managers and brokers.
  • Manage and maintain your own pipeline of loans for sanctioning, ensuring activity is undertaken to allow loans to be funded in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Work with Senior Underwriters on complex cases to develop your skillset and grow within the business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within the mortgage or commercial property finance sector.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with confidence in diary management and results-oriented against set deadlines.
  • Ambitious and keen to drive career forward within the company.

About the Role

This is a key appointment for the lender at an extremely busy time, and we are looking for someone who is highly analytical, numerically skilled, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working within the mortgage or property finance sector, and will be able to demonstrate success against objectives in previous roles.
