About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Stratford. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a child who requires additional support due to challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN and a proven track record of supporting challenging behaviour. They will be a positive and proactive team player who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with challenging behaviour
  • Work closely with the child's teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualised support plans
  • Assist with the child's educational and personal needs, including supporting with homework and daily living tasks
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Proven track record of supporting challenging behaviour
  • Positive and proactive team player
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
