About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school in North London. As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with Autism (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging core subject lessons in accordance with school policies and schemes of work.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to foster their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
  • Share best practices and participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Knowledge and Skills: An understanding of various types of SEN, effective teaching methods, and the ability to differentiate lessons to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for education and helping young people reach their full potential.
  • Resilience and Positivity: A strong, positive attitude with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Experience: While experience with SEN is beneficial, it is not essential.
