About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Class Assistant. As a Class Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced education setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and clearing down the classroom, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Supervise students and help maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Accurately mark and record student work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Support specific student activities, including Maths and English tuition, and assess student progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold at least a B grade in GCSE Maths and English. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with students and staff.

Work Pattern

The Class Assistant role is a part-time position, requiring 7 hours of work per week. The specific hours of work are as follows:

  • Tuesdays: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (3.5 hours)
  • Fridays: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (3.5 hours)
Recruitment Process
