Join Our Team as a Chef in Dartmouth

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Chef to join our team at Defence in Dartmouth. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure a diverse and appealing food offering
  • Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes to enhance the customer experience
  • Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
  • Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image through exceptional customer service
  • Monitor inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked and maintain high standards of hygiene

Requirements:

  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have experience supervising a team and managing kitchen operations
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role and hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Have a flexible approach to working and be able to adapt to changing circumstances
