The Product Manager will play a key role in driving profitable growth for the Utilities product portfolios through the effective management of existing and proposed new products to support the strategic and operational objectives of the business.
This will involve the creation, implementation, and monitoring of product strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit targets. The role also requires analyzing demand forecasts of product lines, defining inputs to the Sales-Inventory-Operations-Planning (SIOP) process, analyzing and proposing business models, and identifying adequate inventory levels to maximize inventory turns.
The Product Manager will lead product management in three key areas of the business:
- New Product Introduction through the Crane NPD process
- Management of existing product ranges
- Management of business models for existing and new product SKUs
The successful candidate will have a degree in a technical and/or business management subject and 5 years of product management experience. Experience within the water industry, ideally with a manufacturing business, would be an advantage.
