Subject Matter Expert Business, Finance and Economics

As a Subject Lead, you will be responsible for providing academic coordination for designated modules, participating in regular meetings with teaching and support staff, and deputizing for the Head of Department when necessary.
You will also contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by the centre, as well as the delivery and assessment of the provision.
Additionally, you will prepare module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment, mark and provide feedback to students, and update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
You will work closely with the centre's Student Experience Team and the Registry and Operations Team in the delivery of induction, orientation, and registration programmes.
You will also liaise with the Progression, Welfare, and Support team to support students in achieving their progression aim.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area is required, with a Master's qualification being desirable.
Candidates holding a PhD will be particularly welcomed.
Experience teaching in UK higher or further education and preferably a teaching qualification and experience working with international students are essential.
