About the Role

We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the asset management industry, regulatory environment, and commercial dynamics. As a Fund Governance and Oversight Associate, you'll be responsible for overseeing third-party administration and governance processes to ensure management company compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review service level agreements and contractual requirements for our service providers
  • Work with Legal and Supply Chain Services to agree changes and ensure costs remain within budget
  • Review the delivery of regulatory changes at third-party providers and ensure processes used by third-party administrators are appropriate
  • Support oversight visits on all delegated outsourced functions, including initial planning and creating reports that highlight actions and maintain exit plans for third-party administrators
  • Ensure evidential standards and record management requirements are in place, including implementing and managing the documentation retention process for regulatory documents, contracts, communications, reviews, governance meetings, and projects

Requirements

  • Experience of the asset management industry and regulatory environment
  • In-depth understanding of the investment product market, its competitive dynamics, and how they influence customer behavior and commercial imperatives
  • Proven track record of end-to-end third-party oversight
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior management level
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex information to help sound decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations, and risk management
