Delivery Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at beBee Professionals. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers in Halesowen, UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe Delivery of Goods: Safely drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, adhering to delivery schedules and ensuring items are handled carefully.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and attention to detail.
  • Route Management: Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, using your knowledge of the area to optimize delivery times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with road safety regulations.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times, resolve any issues, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Communication: Good communication and customer service abilities, with a strong focus on providing excellent service to our customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong physical presence and stamina.
  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing delivery schedules.
